Content Enrichment Specialist (EN/FR Bilingual)
About The Position
The Content Enrichment Specialist delivers content enrichment and curation services related to video content for our client through reviewing, analyzing, researching, and building stories with online video content. This role reviews video content according to guidelines and provides analysis and feedback for the internal team and the client. They will utilize their passion for pop culture and social media trends to identify patterns and provide insight on the digital landscape. This role requires adaptability to pivot in a fast paced environment, the ability to work as an individual contributor, and contribute to the team’s overall success. Excellent communication skills, responsiveness, organization, flexibility and time management are essential for success in this role. This is a bilingual position, requiring fluency in English and French.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Bachelor’s degree or experience in relevant job or industry
- Deep familiarity with the cultural and political climates in Canada
Nice To Haves
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish
- Experience working remotely and within multicultural teams
- Experience with content moderation, content review, curation, or similar roles
- Knowledge of content review guidelines and best practices
- Experience with copywriting and proofreading, preferably with a focus on entertainment content
- Comfortable working with Google Suite, with spreadsheets and other data management tools
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in guidelines, workflows, and tools
- Strong understanding of digital streaming products, particularly video and its ecosystem
- The ability to review information with an analytical and objective mindset in a fast paced environment
- A keen interest in/knowledge of pop culture, social media trends and creators, and trending video content
- Strong familiarity with memes, hit songs and content trends in pop culture including music, dance, gaming, beauty, fashion, film, TV, pets, comedy, and/or sports
- Familiar with popular social media platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, X, Twitch, etc.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partnerships to deliver editorial feedback and research on video content
- Review video content to ensure compliance with provided guidelines
- Identify patterns or trends in video content, adhering to client guidelines
- Evaluate and assess the assigned number of videos required to meet daily deliverables
- Apply a keen awareness of the cultural and political climate to all work
- Determine if videos meet the set criteria for the client’s goals
- Participate in and encourage the growth of 1021’s culture both within the company and outside of it
- Special projects as needed
- Must be available to work occasional holidays
- May be required to work evenings and weekend days
