Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to engage and motivate residents of varying abilities
Valid driver’s license for operating community vehicles as scheduled

Previous life enrichment or activities experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with and lead group activities, special events, outings, and one-on-one engagement
Encourage and motivate residents to participate in meaningful, person-centered activities
Post and maintain weekly activity schedules and record resident participation
Provide individualized support to residents based on interests, abilities, and needs
Follow the household model and person-centered care practices
Collaborate with the Life Enrichment team to plan, evaluate, and improve programming
Build positive relationships with residents, families, team members, and volunteers
