About The Position

Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a content creator in the Army's Product Manager XM30, Program Executive Office (PEO) Ground Combat Systems (GCS) office. This position is onsite at the Detroit Arsenal. This arrangement could change based on the requirements of the government client. Other duties may be assigned to support client and contract deliverables.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship- ability to obtain Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years experience in multimedia arts, or related field
  • Skills in video production, photography, 3D models and animation, technical content authoring. Ability to provide portfolio of work upon request.
  • Experience with multimedia applications including, but not limited to, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender, and tools for animation, content authoring
  • Familiar with XML authoring software, military standards, and army regulations for technical publication development. Demonstrated ability to explain design concepts, analyze and solve problems, prepare presentations, and receive feedback
  • Excellent collaboration, multi-tasking and communication skills
  • Ability to plan and organize work effectively
  • Position will require occasional travel.

  • Advanced degree in communication, multi-media arts, publishing or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Strong project management skills, defining content goals to program management's objective, ability to work independently and on a team to schedule and meet multiple project deadlines.
  • Conduct stakeholder research and analysis to enable objectives to be met. Implement emerging technologies and tools for process improvement.
  • Write scripts and develop story boards to produce videos and technical content to align with technical publications digitally, including subsequent updates.
  • Ability to create, film, edit and implement a variety of multimedia content to produce high-quality videos. Responsibilities may include filming and editing raw footage, color correction and color grading, audio editing, photography, converting CAD models, creating vector art and 3D animations.
  • Conduct file management, experience developing and maintaining a multi-structured database.
  • Develop compelling narratives that showcase the program's impact, objectives, and technical achievements.
  • Possesses a strong attention to detail, ensure all content is accurate, clear, and free of errors before published.
  • Provide coverage of program-related events, including product demonstrations, conferences, and workshops.
  • Ability to learn new computer/media systems and respond quickly to constantly changing technology.
