About The Position

Purpose: For Fall 2026, the College of Fine Arts is looking for a proactive, creative and dedicated student employee to provide support for the Career Services office. Career Services’ mission is to empower College of Fine Arts students to own, shape and celebrate their professional paths. Career Services works to fulfill this mission and offers a variety of resources tailored to the College of Fine Arts (COFA) undergraduate and graduate student body and alumni. The Content Creation/Animation Student Employee will provide essential support to the Career Services office by assisting with a variety of tasks, contributing to the creative branding and event documentation of the department, and gaining valuable professional experience. This position offers an opportunity to work proactively with on campus and off campus stakeholders to complete assigned projects, gather data, and create resources for students. The selected candidate will develop skills in project management and production within a creative administrative setting.

Requirements

• Must be a University of Texas at Austin student, enrolled for at least 6 credit hours.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging video and animation content to effectively inform students about available resources and opportunities via email, social media, department website, etc.
• Design professional & creative visuals for presentations using Power Point, Canva, Adobe suite, etc.
• Provide excellent customer service to all who come into the office and serve as front desk support
• Capture video and content for social media during department events, career fairs and workshops
