About The Position

Zuora, Inc. seeks Content Architect (Product and Developer Documentation) to:
Establish and enforce content governance policies, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high editorial standards across all documentation.
Design, structure, and optimize large-scale documentation sets to improve readability, discoverability, and reuse.
Define and implement content models to standardize documentation structure, metadata, and relationships between content components.
Author and maintain developer-focused documentation, including OpenAPI specifications, CLI guides, and SDK documentation.
Position requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronic Engineering, or Information Systems or related field followed by 5 years of post-bachelor’s experience as a Developer, Technical Writer or in a related position.
Position requires 2 years of experience with API documentation (OpenAI specifications) and 5 years of experience with each of the following:
Technical writing for SAAS software products.
Coding using Python, Javascript and Node.
Scripting with XML, HTML, and CSS.
Source version control using GitHub, GitLab, or BitBucket.
Developing, testing, and applying APIs.
Configuring and using billing, accounting, and payment SAAS systems.
Structured DITA using Oxygen XML, Adobe Framemaker, MadCap Flare, or Heretto.

The base pay details represent the annualized salary range for the posted position. While we share a comprehensive range, a candidate’s final base salary will fall within these guidelines and will be determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to: qualifications of the candidate, job related knowledge, prior related experience, specific and unique skills, the location of the role, internal equity and internal budget. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronic Engineering, or Information Systems or related field
• 5 years of post-bachelor’s experience as a Developer, Technical Writer or in a related position.
• 2 years of experience with API documentation (OpenAI specifications)
• 5 years of experience with Technical writing for SAAS software products.
• 5 years of experience with Coding using Python, Javascript and Node.
• 5 years of experience with Scripting with XML, HTML, and CSS.
• 5 years of experience with Source version control using GitHub, GitLab, or BitBucket.
• 5 years of experience with Developing, testing, and applying APIs.
• 5 years of experience with Configuring and using billing, accounting, and payment SAAS systems.
• 5 years of experience with Structured DITA using Oxygen XML, Adobe Framemaker, MadCap Flare, or Heretto.
