Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong customer service orientation with a professional and positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
  • Comfortable working for extended periods on the phone
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage frequent interruptions
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to assist customers both in person and over the phone with accuracy and professionalism
  • Regular shift 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday rotation from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of banking, receptionist, or call center experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify customers and provide accurate, professional service to ensure security and operational integrity
  • Engage customers to understand needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services
  • Open, close, and maintain consumer and business accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, HSAs, and online banking
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and actively cross‑sell bank and subsidiary products
  • Monitor and respond to messages in the main voice mailbox
  • Escalate sensitive or complex situations to the appropriate Officer as needed
  • Balance cash drawer and assist with vault accuracy as assigned
  • Support special projects, reports, and serve as departmental backup when needed
