About The Position

Dazed our consumption lounge is seeking a Part-Time Lounge Specialist. Prior cannabis with F&B experience is a plus. Summary The Consumption Lounge Specialist plays a key role in enhancing the guest experience within the consumption lounge. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, greeting guests, evaluating tolerance levels, assessing sobriety, recommending cannabis products, offering cannabis education, crafting and serving cannabis cocktails, serving cannabis products, managing table-related tasks (seating/serving/bussing), completing sales transactions, and handling guest payments. It is crucial to adhere to all state compliance standards, such as providing relevant product labels, communicating order and table totals to customers, and ensuring excellent customer service in all guest interactions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must possess a Nevada Consumption Agent work card and be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a Nevada Food Handler Safety Card.
  • OSHA 10 certification required within 6 months of start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior cannabis with F&B experience is a plus.
  • Possession of ServSafe Food Safety Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests as they are seated in the lounge.
  • Providing water to all guests who are seated within the lounge.
  • Evaluate guest cannabis experience levels.
  • Assess guest sobriety levels.
  • Educate guests on cannabis, terpenes, cannabis products, lounge offerings, devices, and regulations.
  • Taking and submitting guest orders via Dutchie.
  • Carrying multiple cannabis product and cannabis cocktail orders to tables and serving to guests.
  • Mixing/making and serving cannabis cocktails.
  • Restocking bar.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts of bar and lounge supplies/consumables.
  • Conduct multiple tables touches to uphold customer service standards.
  • Deliver cannabis products, cannabis cocktails, merchandise, and smoking apparatuses to guest at table.
  • Educate guests on proper use of smoking apparatuses.
  • Stay informed about all menu offerings within the lounge and catering menu.
  • Maintain accurate data on lounge destruction log.
  • Building and setting up profiles on Dutchie.
  • Updating all steps during the process on applicable software program applications.
  • Creates an exceptional customer service experience with guests through education, knowledge of products and salesmanship.
  • Address customer questions about the price and use of cannabis products/merchandise during tableside consultations.
  • Stays up to date knowledge on the endocannabinoid system and all applicable properties and/or effects.
  • Comply with all state regulations pertaining to medical, retail, and/or lounge sales.
  • Comply with all cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, cleanliness of all surfaces within lounge floor and register areas.
  • Removes and records the amount of cash in register at end of shift.
  • Reports all issues to management.
  • Maintain professional appearance, and adhere to all company policies regarding dress code, personal hygiene, and appearance.
  • Perform daily opening and/or closing procedures.
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
  • Daily compliance with company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
