We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consumer Services Officer to join our community banking team at our office in Loysville, PA . This role involves delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our clients in achieving their financial goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of banking products, and a commitment to fostering positive customer relationships.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of experience in customer service and cash handling normally required (banking experience preferred)
Proficiency in basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, etc.)
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to obtain NMLS licensing may be required

Nice To Haves

Specialized banking education and training, preferred
Management experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Assist in the consumer lending process
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of bank products and services to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions such as credit cards, CDs, loans, and referrals to investment representatives
Open new personal and business accounts, ensuring all documentation and procedures are correctly followed
Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, and money orders accurately and efficiently
Supervise teller operations and support staff to ensure smooth branch functioning
Maintain confidentiality of customer information, comply with all regulatory requirements (BSA/OFAC), and assist with daily branch operations
