About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and customer focused Consumer Sales Manager that is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the consumer sales team. You will drive new mobile and fixed business sales activations in and upsell the full product portfolio by identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities with both new and existing customers. Ensure the consumer channel provides outstanding customer service and oversee daily sales operations, manage administrative functions, and ensure accurate reporting across the channel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration or equivalent diplomas, certifications.
  • 3+ years in consumer sales team management within a corporate setting.
  • Proven track record of success managing the sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience coaching and develop sales professionals.
  • Good business acumen and sound decision making skills.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office & CRM applications.
  • Ability to handle/ manage complex processes.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong negotiating skills along with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a clear strategy for the consumer sales team, continually evaluating and improving the sales channel to drive growth and efficiency.
  • Provide direction and support for the development and implementation of sales pipeline tools and processes, ensuring all sales data is easily accessible and accurate.
  • Own and drive individual and team sales targets, regularly engaging with team members to support achievement and surpass activation goals, fostering business growth, loyalty, and satisfaction.
  • Review, discuss, and document sales performance, preparing and verifying monthly commission payments to ensure collective success.
  • Engage with customers to understand and deliver on key business drivers and objectives, providing best-in-class customer service in every interaction.
  • Address customer inquiries professionally via phone and email, supporting service requests and migrations, and sharing product/service knowledge to increase satisfaction.
  • Oversee all revenue management and reporting for the consumer sales portfolio, including preparing reports and presentation materials.
  • Use designated CRM tools for effective reporting, compliance, and data analysis, maintaining an accurate and updated sales pipeline with prospect data, appointments, interactions, and follow-ups.
  • Track and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) such as gross adds, churn, fixed & mobile sales, installations, and digital leads.
  • Utilize multiple data points to inform decisions on staffing, inventory, and customer experience, engaging in continuous improvement to redefine and maintain efficiencies in focus areas.
  • Provide coaching and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the sales team to ensure optimal performance.
  • Promote and sell all products, translating customer needs into tailored solutions.
  • Expand the sales pipeline through effective lead generation activities, including cold calling, referrals, and site visits.
  • Participate in and support marketing and community outreach events to develop pipeline opportunities.
  • Ensure high-quality sales, achieving a sales-to-installation ratio of 85% or higher.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining high standards of professionalism.
  • Facilitate training and capacity building for team members and contractors.
  • Oversee logistics related to product launches, inventory availability, and campaign timing, and procure tools and support resources for sales teams.
