This role is 100% on-site, encouraging interns to collaborate and connect in person five days a week. HQ offers an inviting atmosphere, complete with an on-site café, fitness center, and Flagship store. The role of the Consumer Insights Intern is an integral member of the Go-To-Market team adding value through assisting with consumer research, analysis, and insights using a variety of custom and syndicated resources.

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems as needed
  • Meticulous attention to detail and willingness to validate, double-check, and source data accurately
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally via phone, email and in person
  • Strong public speaking, group presentation, interpersonal and persuasion skills required
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and positive person who manages change with urgency and persistence
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program within Market analytics, Market research or a related field
  • This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a willingness/passion to deeply analyze data

Responsibilities

  • Learn about the importance of consumer research and insights in product-based companies
  • Research identified incremental growth opportunities for the New Era brand using various data resources
  • Assist with analyzing, summarizing, and delivering insights using syndicated data to various internal stakeholders
  • Participate in consumer panel preparation and focus groups
  • Participate in observational consumer research
  • Keep all sensitive matters confidential
  • Other projects as assigned
