We are currently seeking a Civil Superintendent to join our team based in Houston, TX.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade education preferred.
8+ years of experience in civil construction supervision on industrial or large infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated experience in major civil scopes such as earthworks, foundations, underground utilities, and concrete works.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and work packaging.
Proven leadership and communication skills in a multi-contractor environment.
Ability and willingness to work extended hours, night shifts, and rotations as required

Responsibilities

Plan, sequence, and supervise all civil construction activities from site preparation through completion.
Coordinate daily and weekly work plans with construction management, engineering, and subcontractors.
Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, method statements, and schedules.
Manage interfaces between civil works and other disciplines (structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation).
Ensure compliance with quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and project specifications.
Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, testing, and documentation.
Monitor concrete placement, backfilling, compaction, and curing practices to ensure quality standards are met.
Identify and resolve field discrepancies, non-conformances, and rework issues.
Supervise subcontractors and direct-hire craft personnel executing civil works.
Verify subcontractor compliance with scope, schedule, safety, and quality requirements.
Review work permits, work packs, and method statements prior to execution.
Foster a collaborative, respectful, and performance-driven work environment.
Coordinate material deliveries, laydown areas, and equipment mobilization.
Assist with constructability reviews and resolution of field design issues.
Maintain daily logs, reports, and timesheets as required.
Support punch list closure, system turnover, and project closeout activities.
