The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, technical knowledge of fireplace materials, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Generate new business through prospecting, networking, jobsite visits, and relationship building with homeowners, builders, and contractors. Conduct inâhome assessments to evaluate insulation and gutter needs, explain product options, and provide accurate estimates. Develop and maintain strong relationships with custom home builders, remodelers, and retrofit clients. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, including followâup and postâinstallation customer satisfaction. Collaborate with installation teams to ensure accurate project details, timelines, and customer expectations. Track sales activity using CRM tools and maintain organized records of leads, proposals, and customer interactions. Stay informed on building codes, energyâefficiency standards, and product innovations in insulation and gutter systems. Represent the company professionally at trade shows, home shows, and industry events. Role Requirements: Experience in construction sales, home improvement sales, or related buildingâmaterials industries preferred. Strong understanding of residential construction, especially insulation, gutters, or building envelope systems. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to read basic construction plans and understand jobsite terminology. Selfâmotivated with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Comfortable working in homes, attics, crawlspaces, and jobsite environments when needed. Salary Rate: $55,000 - $75,000 base salary, depending on experience, with commissions Physical demands: This role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and occasionally enter attics or crawlspaces during customer assessments. Light lifting up to 25–35 lbs may be needed. The position also involves driving between job sites, using standard office/field equipment, and working in varying environmental conditions.
