Requirements

  • AD, Engineering or Environmental Science.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree Environmental Science or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities perform of facilities contractors.
  • Ensure and verify that all the areas, manages waste are in compliance with client standards and with Regulatory Agencies.
  • Follow-up of correctives actions in the Inspection Action Plan.
  • Perform EHS Inspection.
  • Ensure compliance and update the EHS programs documentation.
  • Conduct, coordinate and track training to support company programs.
  • Participate in Near Miss, Incident and Accident Investigations.
  • Verify project areas are kept clean and orderly.
  • Issue, organize and maintain documentation relating to work permits.
  • Help with documentation required by contractor’s program.
  • Make sure controls are in place to prevent construction project contaminants from entering production, laboratories and warehouse areas.
  • Audit the contractor machinery, tools and equipment for compliance to Safety and Environmental requirements, following cGMPs.
  • Planning and execution of shutdown, routine and no routine maintenance. Permit logistic, safety talk, LOTO plan and LOTO coordinator.
  • Prepare and evaluate Job Safety Analysis
  • Provide support to Engineering Department during regulatory EHS audits.
  • Inform any safety deviations to Engineering and EHS Departments.
  • Evaluate requirements for work permits, for example: (Hot Work, Confined Space, General Works, Non-routine activities, Work at Heights, Fire System Impairment, LOTO, Excavations, Sprinkler Out of Services, Critical Lift, Interlock, By-pass).
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/management, and/or client.
