About The Position

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking experienced Construction Quality Control Managers (CQCM) to join their Field Operations team. This role supports active construction projects on U.S. military installations, with a current assignment located in Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The CQCM position is fully on-site and may require relocation or travel depending on project needs, with preference given to candidates local to the project area. In this role, the CQCM will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing a project-specific quality control program in accordance with contract requirements. This involves managing quality processes, ensuring all documentation is completed on schedule, and building strong client relationships to drive successful project outcomes, all in line with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in the commercial construction industry (or equivalent), serving in roles such as Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer
  • At least 2 years of experience specifically as a Quality Control Manager
  • Current USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification
  • EM 385-1-1 (Level 1) certification
  • CPR certification
  • First Aid certification
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire
  • Successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with RMS/QCS systems
  • Previous runway project experience
  • Specialty inspection training and licenses/certs
  • LEED Accredited Professional or Green Associate credential
  • Experience with project management software such as Viewpoint/Vista and RMS/QCS
