We are seeking seasoned Construction Quality Control Managers (CQCMs) to become part of our expanding Field Operations team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed on schedule and meet the highest quality standards for our clients, with a primary focus on Department of Defense work. Current assignments are located in the Norfolk, Virginia area and require a consistent on-site presence at an active military installation. This position may require second-shift work. While candidates based locally are preferred, relocation assistance may be considered. In this role, you will lead the development, coordination, and execution of project-specific quality control plans. You'll monitor and enforce quality standards to meet contractual obligations, maintain accurate and timely documentation, and support strong client relationships, all while upholding our Mission, Vision, and Values. Established in 1996, RQ has grown into a prominent leader in the commercial and government Design-Build sector, originally rooted in Southern California. We currently oversee close to $1 billion in projects across the United States and internationally, including work at U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay and in Puerto Rico. RQ offers comprehensive Design-Build services, including project management, architectural design, trade services, virtual construction, and sustainable building solutions. While much of our work supports the Department of Defense, we also partner with a broad range of public and private clients. Our achievements are driven by a strong commitment to our guiding values: Safety, Ethics, Innovation, People, Teamwork, and Discipline. We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, creed, gender (including gender identity and gender expression), religion (all aspects of religious beliefs, observance or practice, including religious dress or grooming practices) marital status, registered domestic partner status, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition (including cancer or a record or history of cancer, and genetic characteristics), sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding or related medical condition), genetic information, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other basis or status protected by federal, state, or local law or ordinance or regulation. All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire. Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).
