About The Position

We’re seeking a Construction Quality Assurance Representative to join our construction management team supporting ongoing construction projects at Tinker AFB. This is a full-time, onsite position focused on supporting the Government Construction Administration team by overseeing and documenting every aspect of construction quality. If you’re a detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality management, military codes, and construction best practices, we’d like to hear from you.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Experience in evaluating contractor shop drawings, submittals, construction methods/materials, jobsite safety, and progress documentation.
• Familiarity with construction quality inspection reports.
• Knowledge and experience with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) 3-Phase Inspection process.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team in the construction industry.
• Capable of working independently and managing tasks efficiently.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of the Construction Quality Management for Contractors course.
• Experience using the Resident Management System (RMS).
• Previous experience supporting military construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate contractor-submitted shop drawings and submittals for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Thoroughly document construction methods, materials, jobsite safety, and overall construction progress.
• Interpret construction plans and specifications, providing clear and detailed recommendations to the Government Construction Administration team.
• Assist with the development of project scopes and cost estimates for both modifications and new task orders.
• Support the evaluation of modification proposals and help develop pre-negotiation memoranda.
• Ensure all work aligns with relevant military codes, criteria, and local/international building codes.
• Apply expert knowledge in quality management and construction quality assurance to ensure conformance with plans and specifications.
• Review and understand construction quality inspection reports.
• Collaborate productively as part of a delivery team while also being able to work independently to meet deadlines.
