About The Position

Rose Street Advisors HR Consulting firm is assisting R.W. LaPine recruit their next Construction Project Coordinator. R.W. LaPine is a fourth generation Mechanical Contractor primarily covering Mid & Southwest lower Michigan with our headquarters located in Kalamazoo. As an established leader in the Plumbing, Piping, HVAC Commercial Service and Custom Metal products businesses, R.W. LaPine continues to experience significant growth in the markets we serve. We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team! The Project Coordinator supports our construction project managers by keeping projects organized and moving forward from start to ﬁnish. This role handles day-to-day coordination tasks including bidding support, project setup, permits, RFIs (Requests For Information), submittals, purchase orders, change orders, invoicing, and close out documents. The Project Coordinator works closely with vendors, subcontractors, accounting, and the project management team to track documentation, maintain accurate project records, and help ensure projects stay on schedule and ﬁnancially organized. This position plays a key role in keeping communication clear, processes consistent, and project information easy to access throughout the life of a project.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in a project coordinator or similar role
Keen attention to detail and accuracy while able to meet strict deadlines
Teamwork mindset and temperament to work effectively with a diverse group of people
Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically with Outlook, Excel, and Word
