About The Position

Construction Project Coordinator Arizona Building Contractors, LLC Arizona Building Contractors is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support our residential and light commercial projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is primarily focused on coordination, communication, documentation, selections support, and helping keep projects organized and moving forward. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple areas of the business. This person will primarily support project coordination, while also assisting with client selections, estimating support, and plan or drawing review as needed. Experience with Chief Architect or similar drafting software is highly preferred, but this is not a primary design role. We specialize in garages, guesthouses/ADUs, additions, remodels, and light commercial projects. Requirements

  • Experience in construction, remodeling, project coordination, pre-construction, selections, estimating support, or a related role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts and follow through on details
  • Working knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
  • Experience supporting budgets, takeoffs, pricing, or change orders is preferred
  • Experience with client selections, vendor coordination, or product specifications is preferred
  • Familiarity with construction drawings and plan review
  • Experience with Chief Architect or similar drafting/design software is highly preferred
  • Experience with project management or CRM software is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Office-based role with occasional visits to job sites, vendors, or client meetings
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods as needed
  • Ability to walk job sites and navigate uneven terrain as needed

  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions during site visits

  • $50,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Support active projects by helping track selections, specifications, schedules, and outstanding items
  • Coordinate communication between the office, field team, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and design partners
  • Assist clients with material, finish, and fixture selections while helping ensure selections align with scope, budget, and schedule
  • Help maintain accurate project records, notes, and documentation in project management software and Google Workspace
  • Assist with takeoffs, pricing updates, budget support, and change order coordination
  • Support the sales process through follow-up, documentation, and preconstruction coordination
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to confirm product availability, lead times, and specification details
  • Review plans, product information, and selections for consistency and completeness
  • Assist with light drawing updates, redlines, or plan coordination using Chief Architect or similar software, when needed
  • Help identify missing information or coordination gaps before they affect the project
  • Conduct occasional site visits to verify conditions, selections, or progress as needed
  • Address client questions and internal team requests promptly and professionally
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, contracts, and other project-related documentation as needed
  • Work closely with the project manager, estimator, office team, and ownership to support smooth project execution
