Before a single tool hits the jobsite, there’s a lot of work that happens behind the scenes with not a lot of time to execute it. Drawings are reviewed, numbers are checked (and rechecked), scopes are aligned, and details are carefully coordinated so that construction can run smoothly. That’s where this role comes in. As a Construction Project Coordinator, you’ll be at the center of our preconstruction process, helping turn early concepts and drawings into organized, well-planned projects ready for execution. You’ll work closely with our project management and design teams, supporting the groundwork that allows construction teams, our production team and our installers, to move confidently once work begins. If you enjoy learning and understanding how things are built, thrive on organization, and like being part of the puzzle that makes everything fit together, this role was built for you. On a typical day, you might be reviewing drawings and assisting with takeoffs in the morning, then helping assemble budgets and estimates as new information comes in. You’ll support the process of soliciting pricing from subcontractors and vendors, organizing that information so it’s clear, accurate, and easy to reference. As designs evolve, you’ll help track scope changes, questions/responses, and updates, making sure project files stay organized and current. You’ll also assist with initial schedules and help maintain cost data and vendor information, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. With multiple projects moving at once, your ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly will be essential, and the finance team will thank you. This role is best suited for someone who has a couple of years of experience in construction coordination, preconstruction, estimating, or project administration, especially within commercial or retail construction. You don’t need to know everything yet, but you should be comfortable reviewing construction drawings at a basic to intermediate level and genuinely enjoy working with details, documentation, and numbers. You take pride in being thorough, you follow through on tasks, and you work well as a team and individually. Familiarity with tools like Excel, Google Docs, SmartSheets, Slack, or construction software is helpful, but tech savviness, curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn are just as important. There is some travel required in the US, typically in major cities, like New York and LA. Trips are not typically long in duration. Passport or Real ID is required. We offer a competitive salary and benefits along with a an environment where people are willing to teach, share knowledge, and work together to solve problems. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to deadline-driven, quick-turn projects and develop a strong foundation on the preconstruction side of the business. Over time, this role can grow into estimating, project management, or other related paths, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction or custom manufacturing. If you enjoy seeing how projects take shape from the earliest stages, and want to grow alongside a team that values preparation as much as execution, we’d love to hear from you.
