About The Position

Lead sourcing events and RFQ processes. Facilitate contracting plans for each project, including creating, negotiating, supervising, and implementing terms/conditions. Manage contract administration and ensure obligations are met by owner and contractor. Lead strategic supplier relationships for assigned construction category. Drive KPIs and supplier performance for continuous improvement. Manage strategic supplier events (QBRs, Annual Evaluations, Executive Reviews). Serve as the subject matter expert for construction procurement and share knowledge with internal teams. Lead Site Supplier Performance and Relationships Own procurement process for designated areas and accounts Negotiate with suppliers to meet business needs and support site audits Support capital budgeting and cash flow management Implement cost savings and process improvement programs Category Management & Strategic Sourcing Analyze sourcing trends and make recommendations Cost validation and bid leveling Contract Terms and Contract Administration Buyout and Change Order Management Reporting Contractor prequalification Assure suppliers deliver on time Keeping up with market trends and analyze market trends Claim Resolution Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction management or business administration, or alternatively engineering, supply chain
  • 5+ years of experience in any of the following roles Construction Procurement, Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Preconstruction Services, Budgeting and /or Cost control, Purchasing/Buyer
  • Proficient in written, verbal communication and presentation skills!
  • Demonstrate experience in strategic sourcing
  • Experienced in either category management of goods and services or construction procurement and purchasing.
