About The Position

Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for learning test methods, specifications and reporting of findings related to various materials used in the day to day operations of the company. As well as assisting with other duties around the plant. Safety Expectations: All Suit-Kote employees are required to comply with all safety rules and to observe safe work practices and operating procedures at all times. Whenever on Suit-Kote property or job sites, or operating Suit- Kote equipment, employees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes the safety of the employee, co-workers and others.

• FLEXIBILTY - Overtime and weekend hours are anticipated and with minimal notice
• Travel throughout NY and PA sometimes required.
• Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required and a background check will be conducted
• Consent to a DMV license evaluation
• Must have or be willing to obtain an OSHA 10 Hour Safety Certificate
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Observe and comply with necessary PPE requirements
• Must be able to work in a noisy area with many odors present
• Bending, stretching, stooping, kneeling, crawling and squatting

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in Engineering Science or Construction Technology
• Ability to read and understand SDS
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

• Grab samples from Raw and Finished product tanks
• Perform required testing on materials and record the results
• Enter Production on Enterprise and or on Excel
• Mix various stone with product
• Helping in the plant with production
• Helping load/unload tankers
• Painting, sweeping, moping, shoveling, scraping ect...
• Clear and concise reporting of all findings to immediate supervisor
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
