The schedule for this position is B Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM (36-48 hours per week rotating schedule). A $2.00 Shift Differential is paid for every night shift hour worked. Other duties may be assigned. Trains and relieves machine operators as needed Fills in for the Lead during their absence, including performing color changes, quality checks, and become familiar with mold changeovers Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators Dumps by hand materials such as colors or plastic, into machine hoppers or move product by hand onto scrap pallets Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products Reads spread sheets to determine specific material requirements at changeovers Performs necessary maintenance and repair on some equipment used Responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment Prepares and maintains records of product movement Pulls raw materials and finish product from various locations for manufacturing orders PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
