About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Construction Management Engineer to join our Construction Management Central Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Oklahoma City, OK. YOUR ROLE Participates in conducting engineering investigations and planning work by completing well-defined tasks. These tasks may include collection and analysis of data using established procedures, performance of routine calculations, and participation in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions. Observes construction activities and determines whether construction work is being performed in substantial compliance with contract plans and specifications and reports observed deficiencies to senior field staff. Samples and Tests soil density, concrete, asphalt and other construction materials. Verifies form construction rebar placement, concrete mixture, pile driving blow counts, drainage structure placement, subgrade and base construction. Write diary inspection reports, weather reports, and documents test results and observations. Assists in all types of record keeping and independently performs basic calculations to measure, track and report field measurements of installed quantities, as needed. Requirements

  • Minimal experience is required of incumbents with a bachelor’s degree in a branch of Engineering directly related to hiring discipline; no experience required with a master’s degree.
  • Completion of bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management degree from an ABET accredited college/university.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and to understand contract plans and specifications.
  • Must be able to follow directions, take legible notes, and be physically fit to do manual labor and carry up to 60 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Actively pursue certifications in nuclear density, aggregate, concrete and asphalt testing, and/or other contractually required certifications.
