About The Position

Rentals To Go is seeking a Construction & Facilities Specialist for performing hands-on construction work and operating equipment to support company construction and site development projects. This role focuses on executing tasks safely and efficiently, including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Valid Driver’s License (required)
  • Prior experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, or related field preferred
  • Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and maintenance practices
  • Ability to perform physical labor and work both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds regularly
  • Ability to climb in and out of equipment safely
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
  • Ability to operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3+ years of construction and/or equipment operation experience preferred
  • Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, excavators, or similar machinery
  • Basic understanding of construction practices and job site safety
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus, depending on needs)

Responsibilities

  • Operate construction equipment
  • Perform general construction tasks
  • Assist with installation of structures, equipment, and site infrastructure
  • Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites
  • Conduct basic equipment inspections and routine maintenance (fueling, cleaning, reporting issues)
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently
  • Identify and report safety hazards or job site concerns
  • All other duties as assigned
