About The Position

Cedar Park Group is hiring a Construction Project Manager with 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects ranging from $1M–$10M. The ideal candidate has a strong background in building methods, advanced coordination skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Schedule/Shift: Full-time, on-site Location: Watertown Office (must work on-site but can be flexible when needed) Position Overview: The Construction Project Manager will oversee projects from planning through closeout, ensuring compliance with all standards, budgets, and deadlines. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. Candidates must work from the Watertown office, with flexibility as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction management experience, with project values between $1M–$10M.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction methods, building products, and building codes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and crisis-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Projects, and construction management software.
  • Ability to break large projects into smaller, manageable tasks.
  • Proven success as a collaborative team player.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Project Management certification a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of construction projects from initiation to close-out.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to determine project specifications.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Secure necessary permits and licenses.
  • Ensure compliance with all building and safety regulations.
  • Schedule key deliverables and track progress against milestones.
  • Estimate costs and maintain project budgets.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and laborers.
  • Provide regular project updates and progress reports.
  • Identify and resolve potential issues promptly.
