We are currently seeking a Contract Assistant for our Data Center Group in Chicago, IL. This role will require some travel to the job site in Mount Pleasant, WI. Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree required; Paralegal license is a plus
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Strong computer skills required, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
  • Strong follow up skills with solid time management skills, work well with time constraints, multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and attention-to-detail are essential
  • Employee is expected to work in Corporate office at minimum 40 hours a week
  • Position is based in Chicago, IL however assignment may require some travel to jobsites in Mt Pleasant, WI

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate issuance of contracts for regional projects.
  • Communicates with project staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and manager regarding contract status/issues and maintains contract files.
  • Identifies, interprets, and analyzes discrepancies in relevant records and documents.
  • Ensures that contract required documents, such as signed subcontracts, service agreements, purchase orders, change orders, bonds, certificates of insurance, EEO policies, health and safety plans, and all required owner paperwork have been received and processed.
  • Performs legal research as needed.
  • Provides general administrative support; duties may include following: Data entry and reporting; document preparation Processing invoices, check requests or other departmental paperwork Maintenance of SharePoint sites and/or a document library Meeting coordination and other coordination efforts to ensure department efficiency Other administrative duties as assigned
