About The Position

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Configuration Manager supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/HBA) at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. In this role, you will provide Configuration Management (CM), Quality Assurance (QA), requirements analysis, risk management, and software engineering support in accordance with program Configuration Management Plans, Air Force SEAM processes, and PMO practices. This is a full-time position located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have and be able to maintain an active Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 3 of which must be in the DoD OR,
  • 7 years of directly related experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD.

  • Configuration change control processes and baseline management
  • CM reporting and release documentation using Microsoft Office tools
  • Database systems (e.g., Lifecycle Management Process tools, SharePoint)

  • Strong coordination and collaboration skills across functional teams
  • Effective communication skills for documentation, reporting, and briefings

Responsibilities

  • Manage configuration of program artifacts including product baselines, software, engineering documentation, and design drawings
  • Maintain configuration identification, change control, and status accounting processes
  • Manage CM libraries, repositories, and data environments
  • Support and participate in Configuration Control Boards (CCBs)
  • Track, document, and manage change requests, approved changes, and discrepancy reports
  • Conduct and support Physical and Functional Configuration Audits (PCA/FCA)
  • Review contractor CM programs for compliance
  • Maintain audit records, findings, and corrective actions
  • Archive acquisition and program documentation
  • Support configuration planning, workflows, and process development
  • Collaborate with program management, systems engineering, and quality teams within IPTs
  • Support major program events including TIMs, PDRs, CDRs, CCBs, and contract activities
  • Ensure configuration traceability and integrity across program baselines
