Requirements

  • Administrative support in a technical or engineering industry with technical aptitude to understand drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute with accuracy.
  • Experience with ERP systems, AS400, and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the printing, assembly, and distribution of work orders and engineering drawings to support production and operational needs.
  • Convert drawings into data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), into AS400, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for cross-functional teams.
  • Process and document Release Forms (ERFs), ensuring all revisions are accurately entered and maintained within systems.
  • Collaborate with the Configuration Manager to ensure timely release of engineering documentation and files.
  • Prepare and submit Material Requisition Orders through AS400 as requested by internal stakeholders.
  • Provide support for basic Autodesk Vault functionality and assist in troubleshooting system errors in the absence of the Configuration Manager.
  • Coordinate the procurement, organization, and distribution of engineering specifications as required.
  • Manage office supply inventory and place orders to support departmental operations.
  • Update and maintain multiple databases to support accurate job closing processes.
