About The Position

The Concrete Foreman is responsible for on site management of all JHL craft personnel. Through daily coordination with the Superintendent, the Concrete Foreman will track, prioritize, and assign tasks in order to facilitate the needs of the project schedule. The Concrete Foreman will oversee the project in the field and assist in managing JHL’s safety and quality programs. The Concrete Foreman will be a key player in training and instructing JHL craft for efficient and quality work in addition to the development of skills.

  • Must have the ability to lift tools and supplies, up to 50 lbs. - 40%

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the building of temporary structures for office units, plan tables, install shelves, setup tool trailers and/or Conex’s.
  • Hand-set forms and/or assemble and set gang forms
  • Accurately shoot grades and elevations.
  • Manage unloading, handling, stockpiling, staging of all materials
  • Concrete and rough carpentry
  • Handset Walls
  • Footings
  • Gang Wall Forms
  • Structural Concrete Decks
  • In wall and roof blocking
  • Finish Carpentry, including doors, frames, and hardware
  • Place and finish concrete
  • Advanced plan reading
  • Knowledge of supervisory responsibilities
  • Leads and manages carpenter crew(s)
  • All other duties as assigned
