This role ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in concrete flatwork and curb and gutter installation, and the ability to effectively communicate with crew members, management, and project stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of concrete finishing experience required
  • Experience in concrete flatwork and curb and gutter required
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required)
  • Ability and willingness to travel for projects as needed
  • Ability to work extended hours, including 8+ hours per day as project demands require
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required for job coordination, safety compliance, and documentation
  • Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical labor in outdoor environments

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience leading or overseeing crews preferred
  • Experience supervising crews of 6–10 employees strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a concrete crew of up to 10 employees
  • Plan and coordinate daily work activities and crew assignments
  • Perform and oversee concrete flatwork, curb and gutter installation, and finishing
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications
  • Set forms, establish grades, and ensure proper pitch and drainage
  • Communicate clearly with project managers, subcontractors, and team members
  • Operate equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators as needed
  • Maintain job site safety and enforce company safety policies
  • Ensure quality control standards are consistently met
  • Travel to project locations as required
