The concierge/receptionist performs a variety of administrative support duties including greeting all visitors to the community, answering the telephone, transferring calls to appropriate parties, and taking accurate messages. This role involves monitoring security systems such as walkie-talkies, door security systems, and fire panels, as well as resident sign-in/out logs and visitor registration logs. The concierge also completes administrative tasks like filing and making copies, handles service request forms, maintains the cleanliness of the front desk and lobby, sells meal tickets, and ensures the overall security of the building by periodically checking entrances and exits. Additionally, the position requires attending in-services and staff meetings, assisting with coordinating van schedules for residents, adhering to confidentiality policies, and performing other supportive office functions for various departments.
