About The Position

The priority of the Concierge is to provide a warm and gracious welcome to each
visitor to Beaulieu Vineyard, as well as to ensure that each guest understands
the wine experience, and any other information that will enhance their visit.
The Concierge will serve as a reservationist for the tasting room whether that
be taking reservations over the phone or in person. The concierge will enter
appropriate guest information into the reservation system. Must be available
weekends.

Requirements

• You must be 21 years of age
• You have some experience in retail sales or a similar hospitality setting
• Exemplary customer service skills required
• You have strong presentation skills with the ability to relay knowledge of wines and wine production
• You are dynamic with a positive attitude
• You have a clean professional appearance, and you excel at teamwork and interactions
• Knowledge of food and wine, the wine industry, Napa and Bay Area restaurants
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (a case of wine)
• This position must work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), and some holidays and evenings

Nice To Haves

• Wine industry and/or tasting room experience is highly desired but not required

Responsibilities

• Set-up and host wine tastings and tours for guests
• Provide world class customer service to site visitors
• Assist in events, private dinners and various site activities
• Assist with restocking, inventory, wine packing and floor upkeep
• Register operations, retail sales and wine club promotions
• Follow site policies and procedures.
• Complete projects and other duties as directed by Retail Sales Manager.
