Cashiers and Runners are the face of the food and beverage experience at Breese Stevens Field. Interested candidates should have a positive attitude, outgoing personality, and work well in group settings. Cashiers and Runners are generally interchangeable - hired candidates should expect to be assigned to either role, based on the needs of the scheduled shift. Responsibilities include: Greet and accommodate customers with a positive attitude and a smile while fulfilling orders and requests in an accurate and timely manner. Cashiers use the Square point-of-sale system to sell food & beverages to customers including processing payment. Runners serve as liaisons between Cashiers and the kitchen staff to fill orders efficiently and accurately. Under guidance of Concessions Supervisors, maintain cleanliness and health standards in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Dept. of Public Health. Maintain a clean and professional looking uniform during your shift. Maintain a positive, safe, and fun work environment. Requirements: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time (~ 4-8 hours/shift) Concessions Cashiers and Runners are hired for the outdoor event season at Breese Stevens Field which typically runs from early April to late October. This is a part-time, hourly position with most scheduled work occurring in the late-afternoon and evening. Scheduled hours can include both weekdays and weekends. Concessions Cashiers and Runners are eligible to earn tips from the stadium tip pool in addition to a base hourly wage.
