Computer Technician
About The Position
OPEX Corporation is currently looking to hire a full-time entry-level Computer Technician to work at our World Headquarters in Moorestown, NJ. We are looking for a worker who is able to commit to a full-time schedule during our day shift that runs from 8:30am through 5:00pm. The computer technician will be asked to help setup, install, maintain, and repair computers, tablets, printers, and other related Information Technology (IT) equipment. The ideal candidate will be familiar with computer systems and be able to work diligently and accurately and possess some problem-solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality.
Requirements
- Entry level
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Ability to work well in a team setting and independently
- Experience trouble shooting basic PC/Desktop and applications
Nice To Haves
- CompTIA A+ Certification is desirable
Responsibilities
- Setting up Windows-based computers with custom software and drivers
- Setting up Android-based tablets
- Diagnosing and repairing computers/tablets based on interaction with the user
- Maintain and repair other related IT equipment (e.g. printers, UPS)
- Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated
- Offer timely technical support and teach users how to utilize computers and core software such as Microsoft Office applications correctly
- Other responsibilities as assigned
