About The Position

This Computer Support Analyst II position is located in Chicago, IL 60603 of the United States. Netrix Global, award-winning provider of cybersecurity and end-to-end IT services, seeks a Computer Support Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our clients and internal teams. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, configuring computer systems, maintaining and upgrading software applications, and ensuring the overall functionality of IT systems.

Requirements

  • 2 plus years of proven experience as a Computer Support Analyst or similar role.
  • Proven experience as a Computer Support Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software applications.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of computer systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, networks, applications, and peripherals.
  • Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated and secure.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and manuals.
  • Train end-users on new hardware and software applications.
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Ensure all IT equipment complies with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all company and client information.
  • Ability to work overtime where needed during the busier tax season months for an accounting firm customer (2/1-4/30 each year).
  • Ability to travel up to an hour in any direction, from downtown Chicago, IL for needed customer L2 work
  • Ability to work remotely outside of the defined tax season dates (2/1-4/30 each year is the tax season) to perform remote L2 work.
