About The Position

Responsible for proactive, responsive and customer-friendly 2nd tier computer support and repair. Maintains video conferencing, and Smart Classroom equipment.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a computer-related field or audiovisual technologies.
  • Experience in a computer related field or audio/video conferencing technologies
  • Must possess above-average customer relations skills.
  • Must possess above-average team-building skills.
  • Considerable knowledge in the installation and maintenance of Windows/Apple-based computer hardware.
  • Considerable understanding of the installation and maintenance of Windows/Apple computer operating systems.
  • General understanding of software application installation and support.
  • General understanding of smart classroom technology.
  • Basic networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Repair, maintain, and deploy computers and audiovisual equipment.
  • Assist users in resolving computer-related problems by providing 2nd tier support.
  • Maintain technology-related equipment installed in college facilities at the Weatherford and WCWC campuses, as directed by the Director of Client Services.
  • Provide training to faculty, staff, and students in the correct use of computers and audiovisual equipment.
  • Assist in installing, maintaining, and supporting smart classrooms.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of course-related software and hardware.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Client Services.
