BETA Composite Technicians are responsible for creating all the composite tooling and parts. As a Composite Technician at BETA Technologies, you will be working as part of a team of engineers and technicians responsible for creating all composite tooling and parts in house, along with managing necessary materials and supplies, and maintaining the composite shop facilities.

Requirements

  • Experience with some form of composite processes.

Responsibilities

  • Working hands-on in a shop environment, as a team member, on a range of composite fabrication tasks.
  • High Attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately record job progress in ERP applications.
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • Effective use of power tools, air tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Composite parts fabrication using prepreg carbon fiber materials, wet layups and vacuum infusion.
  • Large-scale bonded and fastened composite assemblies.
  • Layup and/or infusion of carbon fiber tools for composite parts.
  • Experience building items requiring detailed, hands-on craftsmanship.
  • Organize and maintain composites area including work centers, tools, fabric racks, etc.
  • Assist with timeline management and keep necessary teams updated on status and progress.
