About The Position

The Component Administrator plays a key role in supporting production operations at Ideal Steel. This position is responsible for overseeing component-related documentation, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining timely communication between departments to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree or experience in business or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in inventory management, production coordination, or similar roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports efficiently.
  • Legal work authorization in the United States (sponsorship will not be provided for this role).
  • Position-based onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all documentation for components, including inventory records, bills of materials, and production schedules.
  • Monitor component inventory levels to ensure availability for production needs.
  • Communicate with purchasing and production teams regarding component requirements and updates.
  • Coordinate component shipments with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing component orders, addressing discrepancies as necessary.
  • Work closely with production staff to resolve component-related issues.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Job duties include but are not limited to the above.
