About The Position

We’re looking for experienced mortgage professionals to join our team as Compliance Underwriters. In this role, you’ll perform detailed compliance reviews within TRID 3.0 and TRID 1.0 scopes to ensure federal and state regulatory requirements are met. You’ll play an important part in quality, accuracy, and compliance across our loan review process. ⭐ What You’ll Do Review mortgage documents including Notes, Mortgages, Applications (1003), Appraisals, Titles, Closing Disclosures, Loan Estimates, Right of Rescission forms, and more. Validate fees and review closing packages for accuracy. Capture loan data for state and federal compliance testing. Evaluate disclosure timing, delivery, verbiage, completeness, and execution. Identify compliance issues, inconsistencies, or process gaps within loan files. Manage your daily workflow to meet volume, accuracy, and quality goals. Work in a fast‑paced, metrics-driven environment as part of a supportive remote team.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years in any area of the residential mortgage industry
  • Hands-on experience reviewing: Mortgages Applications Appraisals Title documents Closing documents
  • Understanding of mortgage origination documents
  • TRID loan review experience (post‑2015)
  • Strong familiarity with TRID documents and testing
  • Ability to work overtime and some weekends during peak periods
  • Proficient in TRID 1.0 and/or TRID 3.0 reviews
  • Knowledgeable in TRID documents
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Commitment to an inclusive, collaborative work culture
  • HS Diploma/GED required; Associate degree preferred
  • A quiet, productive work environment
  • A hard-wired internet connection

  • 1+ year of compliance review experience
  • Experience working for mortgage industry competitors
  • Broader mortgage or underwriting experience
