The Adventure Ahead: The Compliance Analyst - Product Specialty ensures compliance with insurance and business practice regulatory requirements related to WorldTrips insurance products, including product creation/filing and advertising marketing review. Assists with monitoring regulations, auditing business processes, and provides general assistance to the WorldTrips Compliance department and business unit personnel as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a related field, or the equivalent education and /or experience
  • Possess and have ability to apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
  • Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business to proactively respond to changing business environment
  • Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer a familiarity with insurance regulatory bodies, state Departments of Insurance, and market conduct examination processes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track federal, state, and local regulations related to product filings, forms, rates, and advertising and marketing practices
  • Review product forms, rates, endorsements, and marketing content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence with business process and regulatory requirements
  • Review and approve advertising and marketing materials and other customer-facing communications for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and disclosure requirements
  • Support the preparation, submission, and maintenance of product filings, including updates, amendments, and withdrawals with the creation and maintenance of document libraries
  • Identify, document, and escalate compliance gaps, deficiencies, or risks related to product or marketing activities, recommending corrective actions
  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews of product filings, advertising materials, and marketing communications for regulatory and policy compliance
  • Track and retain marketing approvals in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate and organized product filing and marketing compliance records
  • Support regulatory examinations, internal audits, and market conduct reviews by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and enforcement of product and marketing compliance policies, procedures, and controls
  • Support continuous improvement of licensing compliance processes through process reviews and control enhancements
  • Participate in compliance training and awareness initiatives related to product filing and advertising compliance obligations
  • Prepare compliance reports, metrics, and dashboards for management review
