About The Position

Compliance Officer, Child Safe Organisations Exciting opportunity to make a real impact in shaping the future of the Office of the Children’s Guardian. Join our high performing Child Safe Organisations Directorate, a dedicated team who plays a key role in keeping children safe in NSW. Full time temporary role opportunity until 31 December 2027 with potential for further extension or ongoing employment prospects and hybrid / flexible working arrangements. Clerk Grade 5/6 - $99,938- $110,271 (plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading). About the role The role will work within a small team to provide administrative and project support, including responding to employer enquiries and undertaking Working with Children Check compliance activities. We are seeking a motivated and resilient person to: Provide high quality clerical and administrative support, concise advice and accurate information to employers and other stakeholders regarding the legislation administered by the Children's Guardian. Establish and maintain effective compliance records management systems (records and databases), to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible. Assess and monitor employers for compliance with the legislation administered by the Children's Guardian.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • All roles associated with the Office of the Children's Guardian are required to have a current Working with Children Check.
  • Employment at the Office of the Children’s Guardian is subject to the satisfactory completion of security and vetting checks.
