About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee and manage our day-to-day compliance operations. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to federal, state, and industry regulations while maintaining operational efficiency and supporting both clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree or compliance-related certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, quality control, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), privacy laws, and accreditation standards.
  • Knowledge of background screening processes preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and fulfill Adverse Action processes for clients in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Oversee New Client Onboarding, including agreements, vetting, and account creation.
  • Maintain and update compliance-related policies, procedures, and knowledge resources.
  • Supervise the Quality Assurance team, including the development and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate compliance audits, reinvestigations, and consumer dispute resolution.
  • Provide compliance-related training and serve as a resource for staff and clients.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance compliance operations and service delivery.
