Day to day as a Safety and Environmental Coordinator As a Safety and Environmental Coordinator at Viking Beverages, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that all facilities comply with vital Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental (EOSH) systems, adhering to esteemed ISO standards such as 9001, 14001, and 45001. Collaborating closely with the QSE Manager, you'll ensure alignment with Coca-Cola North America and Keurig-Dr. Pepper's safety governance, while also representing the company during compliance audits with regulatory agencies like OSHA and the EPA. You'll be responsible for managing critical data and preparing reports, including accident reports, OSHA logs, and Tier II submissions, ensuring that every process is backed by a robust risk-based assessment system. Get ready to educate and train employees, lead the Safety Committee, and implement proactive measures for incident prevention, all while contributing to a continuous improvement mindset that enhances our workplace safety and operational excellence. Qualifications To excel as a Safety and Environmental Coordinator at Viking Beverages, you'll need a robust skill set and relevant experience that aligns with our high-performance culture. A background in beverage industry policy and procedures is highly desirable, coupled with one to three years of compliance or safety management experience. Familiarity with ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, is preferred, ensuring your contributions elevate our compliance efforts. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective report preparation and team collaboration. Additionally, being detail-oriented and organized will help you manage various tasks seamlessly, from accident reports to compliance audits. Proficiency in basic to advanced computer skills is crucial, enabling you to utilize necessary software tools effectively. While a bachelor's degree is preferred, a High School Diploma or equivalent will be considered. Experience in an industrial or distribution environment will further enhance your ability to thrive in this exciting role.
