About The Position

As a member of the Stability and Connections Senior Health and Wellness program area, you will join an incredibly talented and hardworking team dedicated to providing older adults and other targeted populations throughout Harris County with opportunities to maintain and/or improve their personal health and wellness. Reporting to the Director of Senior Health and Wellness, the Compliance Coordinator provides a wide range of operational and administrative support to the programs within Senior Health and Wellness Centers (SHWC). This position is responsible for ensuring that programs have the resources and ongoing support needed to maintain compliance with applicable standards and regulations and to provide efficient, impactful services to our neighbors, in alignment with funder requirements. This position will handle multiple assignments in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 3- 5 years of working experience preferred
  • CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Texas Driver’s License; Food Manager’s Certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules all site inspections in accordance with funding compliance requirements.
  • Food Inspections
  • Internal Inspections
  • ADA/Safety Inspections
  • Requests compliance documents from staff and subcontractors on a monthly basis to prepare for funder monitoring.
  • Maintains all funder-required compliance documents electronically on SharePoint.
  • Uses internal client management system to track client assessments for completion.
  • Prepares assessments for annual monitoring.
  • Assists in keeping policies, procedures, and process maps current.
  • Assists in training and providing technical support to senior center staff and subcontractors on software and systems usage.
  • Audits client data in the software system for accuracy and makes necessary corrections.
  • Enters client data in agency and state client information systems.
  • In the event of a staff vacancy, act as a member of the site coverage rotation team when necessary.
  • Provides administrative support to Stability & Connection program leadership as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
