The Compliance Consultant is a vital member to the Children's Minnesota compliance program. This role will coordinate and execute the seven elements of an effective compliance program including\: advising and drafting policies and procedures, supporting the Children's compliance officer and managers, developing training and education, monitoring and auditing compliance risks, and investigating and responding to reported compliance violations. This role will focus 50% of their time on compliance activities and 50% of their time on privacy program activities. This position will report to Compliance Management team. The role will be approximately 80% remote and 20% on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, required
  • Minimum five years' experience working in a regulatory or compliance role, required.
  • Familiarity of regulatory/compliance programs and processes, required
  • Healthcare experience, required
  • Privacy and security program experience, required
  • Strong written, verbal and listening skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to research and read regulations
  • Ability to work with varying levels of leadership
  • Ability to utilize data to develop dashboards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Experience with GRC tools

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree, preferred
  • Milliman or InterQual care guidelines, preferred
