This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, multi-outlet environments and enjoys blending structure with creativity. Having experience in event venues, museum dining, food halls, catering, or a mix of restaurant and B&I operations tends to excel here. You’ll partner closely with the Complex Director and culinary leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences, support a high-performing team, and help drive operational excellence across a sophisticated and high-profile account

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing complex, multi-outlet operations
  • Experience in environments such as event venues, food halls, catering venues, cultural institutions, or a blend of B&I and restaurant operations
  • Understanding of both catering and bar operations
  • A confident communicator who leads with diplomacy, collaboration, and professionalism
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay focused amid fast-paced, shifting priorities
  • Experience hiring, coaching, scheduling, and developing teams
  • Comfortable working with budgets, financial reporting, and operational metrics
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Passion for creativity, continuous improvement, and team development
  • Experience in upscale, high-volume or multi-unit foodservice operations
  • Background in personnel management and succession planning
  • Strong catering leadership experience
  • Knowledge of purchasing, food costing, inventory controls, and cash-handling procedures
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations across multiple venues within the complex, ensuring smooth execution and a welcoming guest experience
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members through ongoing training, meetings, and performance conversations
  • Build strong relationships with clients, guests, and cross-functional teams
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Oversee food quality, presentation, and safety, ensuring HACCP and all health standards are consistently upheld
  • Partner with culinary teams on menu planning and innovation
  • Support financial management including budgeting, forecasting, P&L review, cash handling, and cost controls
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Oversee purchasing, vendor partnerships, and inventory management
  • Contribute to catering and bar program operations, ensuring premium execution and consistent standards
  • Collaborate across departments to align operational plans and elevate the overall guest experience
