Job Description: This job is responsible for providing high-level analytical support for the design, delivery, and management of compensation programs aligned with business strategy. Key responsibilities include consulting with business leaders, guiding program execution, and coaching less experienced analysts. Job expectations include applying independent judgment, managing complex compensation issues, and influencing program outcomes. The Executive Compensation function provides the following core services: End-to-end coordination of the materials for the Compensation & Human Capital Committee of the Board of Directors and/or Management Compensation Committee Development competitor compensation benchmarking reports (including competitor public filings) for senior executives and the Board of Directors Advising on structure of senior executive compensation programs and general plan design; Development of annual proxy statement Compensation Discussion and Analysis. Review of compensation-related regulatory requirements, guidance and ongoing compliance, response to regulator requests related to Executive Compensation Ad hoc projects and general team support

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Compensation Compensation Experience experience or successful performance supporting the Board of Directors and/or 5+ years successful performance in a Human Resources role
  • Must have experience working directly with leaders, advising and consulting with them on HR, Compensation, or related issues
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives, establish and maintain collaborative cross-functional partnerships and provide advice, counsel and technical expertise to strategic decisions
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and maturity
  • Data/quantitative analysis experience
  • Strong MS Excel skills (familiar with complex pivot tables, data filtering, lookups)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to a variety of recipients
  • Collaborative partner who can develop relationships with global colleagues
  • Ability to understand and apply complex technical requirements to practice situations
  • Be a demonstrated self-starter and a results-oriented professional who can develop and manage relationships across multiple groups
  • Be a team player and display a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on Compensation matters to Human Resources partners and Business Leaders
  • Designs and delivers compensation programs aligned with business strategy
  • Supports and advises on compensation related activities including but not limited to new hire offers, promotions, talent retention and year-end forecasting
  • Monitors market trends and regulatory changes to inform program design
  • Compile, create and summarize/analyze data clearly and concisely to help drive fact-based decision making
  • Participate in compensation survey process; conduct analysis on internal and external bench marking to support compensation related business decisions and strategy
