About The Position

PEPL has been engaged to place a Compensation Analyst for a growing client located in Alpharetta, GA. This is a hybrid, contract role with the potential to become permanent. The Compensation Analyst is responsible for administering and supporting the organization’s compensation programs, systems, and processes. This role ensures accurate execution of merit, incentive, and long-term compensation plans while maintaining data integrity within Workday. The Analyst partners with HR, Finance, and business leaders to provide reporting, analysis, compliance oversight, and system optimization to support strategic compensation initiatives. This role requires strong technical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus in Compensation.
  • Hands-on experience administering compensation programs in Workday.
  • Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Experience with merit cycles, bonus administration, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of compensation compliance and regulatory considerations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Experience with Radford job architecture and market pricing methodology.
  • Experience with automation and system reporting enhancements.
  • Exposure to Long-Term Incentive programs and Sales Incentive Plans.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience supporting global compensation programs.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for workflow optimization and reporting efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Compensation Administration Administer annual merit cycle within Workday.
  • Support and administer Bonus / Short-Term Incentive Plans (STIP).
  • Assist in the administration of Long-Term Incentive (LTI) programs.
  • Support Sales Incentive Plan tracking and reporting.
  • Conduct job evaluations and maintain job profiles.
  • Apply compensation benchmarking methodologies, including Radford Job Methodology (preferred).
  • Ensure compliance with compensation-related policies and regulations.
  • Workday & Systems Management Maintain compensation modules within Workday.
  • Execute EIB uploads and system data updates.
  • Perform audit and data clean-up activities to ensure data accuracy.
  • Support performance management, goal setting, and learning management modules in Workday.
  • Lead system improvements, process documentation, and automation initiatives.
  • Utilize AI tools for basic automation, reporting enhancements, and efficiency improvements.
  • Reporting & Analytics Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc compensation reports.
  • Support global reporting within Workday.
  • Partner with Finance and HR leadership on compensation analysis and forecasting.
  • Create dashboards and analytics to support executive decision-making.
  • Relocation & Rewards Administer relocation programs and vendor coordination.
  • Support employee reward and recognition programs.
  • Project Management Lead or support compensation-related projects, including system upgrades and process enhancements.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time with proper documentation and stakeholder communication.
