Position Summary The Compensation Analyst supports the design, administration, and ongoing maintenance of the company’s broad-based compensation programs. This role provides initial job evaluation support by reviewing job documentation, preparing first-level assessments, and coordinating with senior Compensation Consultants for validation and final recommendations. The analyst assists with compensation data pulls, market analysis, survey participation, and recurring reporting to ensure accurate and timely information is available for program decisions. The role also supports key initiatives such as the job architecture project by maintaining job data, updating documentation, and ensuring alignment across systems and stakeholders. The position collaborates with Compensation team members, HR partners, and HR Technology to support annual compensation processes and ensure consistent application of compensation practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of applicable reporting, analytics, program administration or related experience.
  • Strong data management, analytical and reporting skills with demonstrated ability to summarize and present complex data in an organized, concise manner as well as problem solving, collaboration, and partnership capabilities.
  • Requires intermediate to advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently with moderate guidance and manage multiple projects and priorities.

  • At least 4 years of applicable reporting, analytics, program administration or related experience.
  • Knowledge and experience related to compensation principles and concepts, compensation consulting, salary survey administration, and job evaluations/market pricing strongly preferred.
  • Strong data management, analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret and clearly communicate the data.
  • Requires advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently with moderate guidance and manage multiple projects and priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with job evaluations and market pricing.
  • Professional compensation certification from a recognized professional or educational organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration, documentation, and communication of one or more of the company's rewards programs including but not limited to short-term incentives, sales incentives, employee recognition or special pay programs.
  • Support compensation processes including but not limited to the annual base pay and incentive cycle, annual surveys process, salary structure updates, market reviews, and regulatory proceedings/filings.
  • Design, build, interpret and deliver compensation metrics, reports, audit checks and tools on a scheduled or ad hoc basis to inform compensation program decisions, forecast and monitor program/process effectiveness and ensure data integrity/accuracy.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in the design, development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs and processes in partnership with compensation team members, HR consulting, HR technology, HR operations, business systems and business leaders.
