About The Position

Title: Community Support Associate Location: Knott County Sapling Center. Hindman, KY Employment Type: Regular Full-Time Credentials: High School Diploma/GED; experience working with youth ages 14 – 25. Special Skills/Knowledge Required: Ability to utilize an electronic medical record, effective interpersonal skills, one (1) year of full-time experience working with individuals who receive services for treatment of a mental health disorder or co-occurring disorder

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group sessions
• Teaching emotion regulation skills, crisis coping skills, independent living skills, and other skills as needed/identified.
• Educate clients on community resources and how to access them.
• Complete billing per agency.
• Completes needed requests, ordering supplies for the center, and completes grocery shopping.
• Drives transportation van.
